Ultimate Walk Soccer Club COVID-19 Playing Guidelines

Our top priority in playing is that we keep everyone safe and well. This takes
EVERYONE to follow our guidelines/rules so that we can provide the utmost safety in our soccer playing environment. Please refer to GSSL returning to play guidelines at GSSl.org and the guidelines set by the State of Washington, and the county expectations to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The guidelines/rules may change over time depending on the new information coming to our
attention. When you do register to play, you are agreeing to the guidelines and rules.

DO NOT play and PLEASE STAY HOME IF:

  • You have any symptoms of COVID-19, such as fever, cough, temperature increase,  fatigue or any symptom recognized by the CDC as COVID-19 symptoms.
  • You have been exposed to anyone within the previous 14 days who has tested positive or has shown any signs or symptoms of COVID-19.
  • You are at a high risk or have underlying conditions that would compromise you, should you get exposed to COVID-19.

PLAYERS

  • All players are required to be vaccinated. Proof of vaccination will be checked at the field. A photo of a vax card on a phone is fine.
  • Masks are required at all times for indoor soccer games.
  • Follow rules and guidelines for safety. Support your teammates to do the same.
  • Bring your own water bottle.
  • Practice Social Distancing. Six feet or more between players. If you are breathing hard, give your teammates more distance.
  • No group celebrations, no high 5’s, no hugs and no handshakes. And please, no kissing!! 😉
  • Follow the directions of the coach and/or assistant.
  • Should a player become ill with COVID-19 symptoms following any training or game, the player is required to report it to the coach as soon as possible.

COACHES

  • Coaches will monitor and check for anyone showing signs or symptoms of COVID-19. However, all players should be alert and inform the coach if anyone is showing any symptoms.
  • Coaches will enforce the rules. If a player is asked to leave, please leave. Disputes can be settled later.
